3. Bittering Hops

4. Dry hopping
In the dry hopping technique, the hops are usually added during the fermentation stage and left in the beer for weeks. Dry hopping is also popular among commercial beers.
5. Late Hop Additives
This is also another hopping technique that aims at adding more aromatic flavors into the beer as opposed to enhancing bitterness. In this technique, the hops are added at the last minute, about 5-15 minutes, during the boil. If you desire to get the aromatic hoppy flavor, then you should use this technique. It is preferable to add strong aromatic hops within the last ten minutes of the boil to enhance the flavor and aroma.
